CINCINNATI, OH – Reliable Transportation Solutions recently began a No-Shave November Campaign in an effort to help raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
The third-party logistics company has been ranked a top workplace in Cincinnati for multiple years, and they sponsor schools and events in their communities, so they are known for both their fun work atmosphere and support of a variety of community causes. But this No-Shave November event really brings both community assistance and workplace engagement together. As Matt Klever, one of the soon-to-be-bearded participants and the brains behind the event, says, “We take a lot of pride in how close our team is and how we continue to build that culture. Not shaving for a whole month may seem like a weird way to build camaraderie, but when you have a whole team of people raising money to fight cancer by refusing to shave…it definitely works!”
Each participating employee donated a minimum of $5 to take part, and for every employee who doesn’t shave for the entire month, RTS will match their donation. So far, 27 people have agreed not to shave, and RTS is still accepting donations from any nonparticipating employees who still want to support the cause. The company’s choice of charity, the Prevent Cancer Foundation, is devoted to helping prevent cancer by conducting research and distributing knowledge of prevention services. As the RTS family of companies grows, both in the logistics industry and in their local communities, they will continue to support a variety of causes.
