Does mentoring make a difference?

As the 2016-17 school year winds down, we asked students what the One-To-One Mentoring program did for them.

Here’s what one student said:

“My experience with my mentor has been very helpful and enjoyable. With his help, I have been able to solidify plans and understand what it is to be successful. I have enjoyed the program because my mentor has been a person with whom I could build a relationship. He is someone I know I can talk to if I ever need to do so, and it has been such a joy being able to sit down and just talk with someone about life. Simply put, the experience has been amazing! It is very helpful to have more information on how the real world works, and I am grateful to have been mentored by someone who is such a successful person and a productive member of society. Very enlightening!”
