Clermont County CVB Launches Shop Clermont Savings Pass

BATAVIA, OH- The Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau invites visitors and residents to discover little shops and enjoy big savings this holiday season with the new Shop Clermont Savings Pass. Launching on Wednesday, November 18th this free mobile savings pass features over 50 great holiday discount offers. Participating businesses showcase Clermont County’s warm and inviting specialty shopping, unique dining, entertaining attractions, lodging and so much more. To download the new savings pass, visit www.discoverclermont.com/shopclermont.

This mobile pass is designed to give visitors and residents an incentive to get out and shop local this holiday season as businesses continue to recover from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Using the mobile savings pass, shoppers will unlock special holiday offers and more to use throughout the shopping season.

“The Shop Clermont Savings Pass is a true collaboration amongst a variety of partners including Milford Miami Township Chamber, Little Miami River Chamber Alliance, Clermont Chamber of Commerce, New Richmond Ohio Business Association, and the Village of Williamsburg,” said Jeff Blom, President of the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We are excited to offer a wonderful variety of discounts to many of our small businesses across the county for people to discover. Our goal is to increase visitor spending in Clermont this holiday season,” he added.

Last year, the Milford Miami Township Chamber introduced a “Holiday Passport to Savings” that was a printed coupon card featuring 25 offers. “The 2019 passport was highly successful in promoting our unique local options,” said Andrea Brady, Executive Director. “The Shop Clermont collaborative program is not only expanding the reach of our program, but the new technology from the CVB is taking it to an entirely new level. This is especially helpful during COVID, and it will make the program even more of a success,” she said.

Once the savings pass has been downloaded, a shopper can start unlocking the best holiday offers around Clermont County. The Shop Clermont icon can be added to a mobile home screen for easy access to offers while out shopping. Shoppers will find a variety of discount offers from the diverse and charming towns and villages that make Clermont County a unique destination. A sample of participating businesses include The Governor in Milford, The Alpaca Shop in New Richmond, Trailside Provisions in Loveland, Wrinkle Antiques in Williamsburg and many more.

“New Richmond is proud of our beautiful river valley, our small businesses and keeping the holiday spirit alive,” said David Vornholt, President of the New Richmond Ohio Business Association, and owner of Susanna’s Guest House, a bed and breakfast. “We are thankful for the Clermont CVB and the Shop Clermont Savings Pass campaign,” he added.

“Our community is excited for the opportunity to bring new shoppers to Williamsburg. Visitors will find a warm welcome as they make their way through the Village of Williamsburg to use their savings pass,” said Mary Ann Lefker, Mayor.
