Clermont Chamber Names New Vice President

Union Township, Clermont County Ohio (October 21, 2022) – The Clermont Chamber of Commerce has announced the promotion of Andrew McAfee to the role of Vice President. McAfee was hired in January 2021 as the Chamber’s first Director of Government Affairs.

“This is a well-deserved promotion for a trusted and essential leader of the Chamber. I look forward to Andrew’s continued support advancing our mission forward,” said Chamber President and CEO, Joy Lytle.

In his new role, McAfee will continue the Chamber’s advocacy and public policy efforts, as well as leading the Chamber Foundation’s Work Readiness Initiative. Additionally, he will focus on operations and strategic planning for the Chamber and Foundation.

“I am so thrilled to be taking on this new role with the Clermont Chamber,” said McAfee. “We have such an amazing team here and I’m really looking forward to more involvement in the operations side of our efforts. Our county is on the right track towards success, and I’m honored to play a small role in serving our community.”

Since starting at the Clermont Chamber of Commerce, McAfee has used his extensive experience in government and politics, as well as his passion for public policy, to ensure the business community has a seat at the table with key decision-makers.

Adopted as a baby from Honduras, Andrew is a longtime resident of Clermont County and a graduate of Glen Este High School and the University of Cincinnati. He recently earned a Master’s in Public Administration at Eastern Kentucky University. In his free time, Andrew enjoys hiking at any of the Clermont County Parks with his fiancé Jonathan and their black lab, Charlie.
