Clermont Chamber Celebrates Business Excellence and Community Champions

Union Township, Clermont County Ohio (January 8, 2024) – The Clermont Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Ohio Small Business Development Center, proudly announces the winners of the prestigious Business Excellence Awards, presented by Duke Energy. These awards recognize the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses that contribute to Clermont County’s vibrant economy and strong community spirit.

The winners will be celebrated at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting dinner on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the RSVP Event Center in Loveland, Ohio. Join us as we shine a spotlight on the region’s top performers and raise a toast to their success.

The Edward J. Parish Pacesetter Award recognizes Dr. Greg Sojka, PhD, Professor, Dean Emeritus, and Director Exploratory at the University of Cincinnati – Clermont College, as an individual who has contributed to the economic vitality of Clermont County, who has a genuine concern for the welfare of Clermont County and its residents, and who has exhibited outstanding character, citizenship, and leadership.

The Martha Dorsey Pacesetter Award recognizes former Ohio State Senator Joe Uecker as a public servant (elected or non-elected) who has genuine concern for the welfare of Clermont County and has demonstrated outstanding leadership, character, and citizenship.

Business Woman of the Year Award recognizes Barbie Hahn, Chief Sunshine Officer & Founder of That Dam Jam, as a woman who excels by promoting professional excellence for women, being an outstanding personal or business leader and who participates in community, civic, or other charitable organizations.

Business Excellence Award recognizes Deltec Inc. as a business which, in a given year, has made a significant contribution to the overall good of the community through relevance, resilience and sustainability.

Emerging Business of the Year Award recognizes Huntsman Wildlife as a business for leveraging leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit that is positioned for substantial growth.

Small Business Development Center Excellence Award recognizes Morris Automotive as a business and Small Business Development Center client that has made a significant contribution to the overall good of the community through relevance, resilience, and sustainability.

Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes Kristine West-Kahl, Chamber Ambassador Chair, EXP Realty Real Estate Agent, and Kiwanis Club of East Fork Region President, for the valuable and selfless commitment to innovation, dedication, building awareness, and enhancement of the efficiency of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce.
