2019 SBDC Business Excellence Awards Recognize Clermont Businesses

The Ohio Small Business Development Center at the Clermont Chamber of Commerce (Clermont SBDC) proudly announces the winners for the annual SBDC Business Excellence Awards. Six awards recognizing local businesses and organizations for business excellence will be presented at the Clermont Chamber’s Annual Meeting on February 8, 2019 at the Holiday Inn & Suites Cincinnati East.

Emerging Excellence Award recognizes Bite Restaurant as a business with entrepreneurial spirit that is positioned for substantial growth in the near future. A locally owned and operated restaurant in Milford, Bite believes food should nourish a healthy lifestyle, be fresh, seasonal and local. The restaurant works with local farmers and grows organic on its two-acre property. Marc and Rachel Seeberger, owners of Bite Restaurant, believe in old school techniques, scratch cooking, and clean ingredients.


Excellence in Innovation Award (large corporation) recognizes TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) as an organization demonstrating unique and inventive practices and procedures. TCS is a global IT services, consulting and business solutions leader who explores emerging technologies to drive future capabilities and create impact for customers and society. For every $1 returned to shareholders by TCS, $0.47 goes back to the community, giving TCS a unique worldview.


Excellence in Innovation Award (small company) recognizes Elite Biomedical Solutions as an organization demonstrating unique and inventive practices and procedures. What sets Elite Biomedical apart is their emphasis on collaboration – working closely with hospital biomed technicians, engineers and administrators – to create innovative solutions that improve equipment uptime and reduce costs.


Excellence in Customer Focus Award recognizes Fitzgerald’s Pharmacy as a business that successfully demonstrates a commitment to customers that consistently exceeds expectations.  Fitzgerald’s Pharmacy is a family-owned and operated pharmacy with multiple locations in Clermont County, believing in providing comprehensive family healthcare. The friendly staff takes time to consult with patients seeking professional advice and offers services in and outside the pharmacy.


 

Excellence in Impact Award recognizes Reliable Transportation Solutions, LLC  for growth and demonstrated economic impact within its industry. Reliable Transportation Solutions, LLC. delivers unparalleled logistics and transportation solutions with a team of experienced professionals who continuously exceed their customers’ and carriers’ expectations.


Patriotism Award recognizes the Tri-State Warbird Museum  for the commitment to preserve the aircraft of World War II, educate visitors on America’s role in WWII, and to honor the veterans who fought and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Continuing to grow, the Tri-State Warbird Museum aircraft collection now consists of nine significant WWII aircraft with additional acquisitions planned for the future. Staff at the Museum is excited to play a significant role in the education of American history to the local young generation.
