Since its founding, the United States has been known across the world as a society of citizens who volunteer. In many ways, that is how this country was built and Clermont County has exceptional volunteers who continue that tradition.
Clermont County volunteers are honored each year at the annual Salute to Leaders, a program of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation. These volunteers often are unsung heroes who ask for no reward or recognition and make Clermont County a better place to live.
The Salute to Leaders awards for each township and the cities of Loveland and Milford are chosen by the individual township and city representatives. They are given to outstanding individuals and groups who have made a positive volunteer impact on their township or city.
The Salute to Leaders awards in the categories for community, vibrancy, health, volunteer, education, non-profit partner, business partner, and leadership awards are nominated by members of the public. The winners are determined by the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Salute to Leaders event committee.
