Where do you see yourself and your business in the next 5 years?
We envision RDI celebrating their continued growth and having added additional domestic locations with our continuous focus in the Ohio/Northern Kentucky region. Andy and I will continue to support the additional growth as we look to expand to over 3,000 employees.
What is one mistake you witness leaders making more frequently than others?
The one mistake that we witness leaders making most frequently is taking their employees for granted. The desire to receive feedback resulting in personal growth and the development of new skill sets is human nature. Unfortunately, some leaders see an employee greatly excelling in certain areas of their position and overlook them when development opportunities could be available them.
Where would we find you on a Saturday?
From Fall and into the Spring, you would find us coaching or cheering on our children at any one of their various extracurricular activities. Andy is an avid supporter of his daughter’s cheerleading, while I have begun to dive into coaching duties ranging from basketball to lacrosse.
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
I was asked this exact question for the MMTCC business awards gala, so I have to remain steadfast and say a horse. Ideally, I would hope to be a horse that gets to live in a more desirable climate such as the beach (insert Outer Banks) so I could simply enjoy the weather with no responsibilities whatsoever.
